Associated SC18… I Want… Now… *Updated*

[An after-thought] I totally spaced that the iHobby Expo is coming up in about a week. I’m assuming that the debut of the SC18 was intended to be during the expo. Give it a week and we might have some more info, so stay tuned.
Making it’s debut appearance on the inner front cover ad spread of RC Driver’s December issue is Team Associated’s new and apparently, as of yet, unannounced SC18. I’ve scoured the website, AE Forums, and Associated Twitter feed only to find nothing about it.
Here’s what’s known from the ad. It looks to be built on the popular RC18 chassis, but it’s belt driven instead of shaft driven four wheel drive; short course style body, wheels, and tires; mud flaps much like it’s larger siblings, fully RTR with battery and charger included, full ball bearings, and oil-filled shocks. It has the cool tube bumpers front and rear, but there doesn’t appear to be a tube style roll cage, which is a neat feature of the 1/8 and 1/10 SCs from Associated.
I’ve been looking at buying a mini/micro for some time now. I think, if this starts shipping soon, that I have a winner. So here’s another addition to my RC must buy list.
Click to embiggify, but be warned, it’s huge. 3456 x 2592.
