Wisconsin AG J.B. Van Hollen:

… said it’s legal to openly carry a gun on the street in Wisconsin and advised prosecutors that merely having a gun doesn’t, by itself, warrant a disorderly conduct charge.

Milwaukee Police Chief Ed Flynn:

My message to my troops is if you see anybody carrying a gun on the streets of Milwaukee, we’ll put them on the ground, take the gun away and then decide whether you have a right to carry it.

Police Chief Ed Flynn, under your watch you and your “troops” have allowed 200 murders in your city in the last two years.  If I were a citizen I would have no confidence in you or your police force to protect me and mine.  You have obviously failed in your duty to protect and serve your community and now you are denying a protected right of the citizens in your community.  At this point the only effective way for the citizens to be protected, is to protect themselves.  So you shouldn’t be in the business of denying the second amendment rights of your lawful fellow citizens, you should be helping them and seeking help from them to be effective in protecting the community.  The police of Milwaukee are apparently useless.  Do you honestly think that somebody who is openly carrying a holstered weapon is one of the criminal class you’re looking for?
