The legislation, which goes to the full committee, would make it illegal to promote a national championship game “or make a similar representation,” unless it results from a playoff.
When our senators and congressmen take to involving themselves with collegiate football playoffs, it becomes apparent they’ve run out of other things to do, so it is then time to get rid of them.
