Sony is releasing a keypad attachment for their Dualshock/Sixaxis controllers for the PS3. It was announced a while ago and had a bit of my attention for a little while, but then I remembered I have large fingers. I have problems with fat-fingering full-size PC keyboards. Don’t even ask me how I managed to send text messages by cellphone. Sony’s keypad, while decidedly larger than a cellphone keypad, is still a LOT smaller than a PC keyboard. I can see my conversing looking something like this: “heryu, ytou wanmrt rtop plasy Bvuirnoiiut?” Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be buying this particular accessory. I’ll just stick to the bluetooth headset and making suffer all those who are in range of me.
