You’ve raised my hopes and dashed them quite expertly sir! Bravo!

The PC version of Splinter Cell Double Agent is an unplayable mess.  And not in the good way.  My customized graphics settings aren’t saved, custom key bindings don’t work, and the frame rates are terrible.  Now the frame rates I can deal with, but the other two problems I mentioned here and numerous other bugs and crashes are just driving me insane.  Every day I check for a new patch to the game which will hopefully fix the problems, but every day I am disappointed by finding nothing of the sort.

I’m a big fan of the Splinter Cell franchise.  I own every Splinter Cell released for the PC, Splinter Cell Essentials for the PSP, and the three novels based on Splinter Cell.  I hate to see a Splinter Cell game in this form, considering how all of the previous games have been top knotch.  I don’t want to say I’m not buying the next Splinter Cell, I want to wait a bit and see how Ubi handles this situation.  If they pull through and fix all the problems with SCDA then I’ll forgive them and continue playing the series.  If they don’t do the right thing then they’ll lose a loyal customer.
